Abide with us - Week four of Lent 2024 - Eyes on Jesus

The stoning of Stephen is one of those stories within the Biblical text we can spend a lot of time on. Stephen gives an amazing speech in front of the Sanhedrin and ultimately accuses them of not listening to the promptings of the Holy Spirit. Even during the stoning Stephen never takes his eyes off of the path God has for him. He never takes his eyes off God. I pray we may be that way no matter what we are facing.
